Megha Kadakia brings a unique blend of business experience and artistic vision to the world of independent filmmaking through her production company – Blue Velocity Pictures and Mr. Kicks and Lady Megs. Her feature film Miss India America won the CAAM Fest Narrative Jury Award for best feature and was released theatrically across the U.S. in 2016. Megha secured equity financing and orchestrated numerous deals and services to produce the feature film Raspberry Magic – Audience Award Winner for the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival and currently on STARZ. With writer/director Lena Khan, Megha produced her third feature, The Tiger Hunter, which won the Grand Jury Prize and Best Director Award at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. Megha’s producing projects have received wide acclaim, garnering her entry into the Film Independent Producer’s Workshop, the Producer’s Network at the Cannes Film Festival, and the Strategic Partners Conference. Megha holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Columbia University, Graduate School of Business, a B.A. from UCLA, and serves on the boards of Creative Visions Foundation, Social Capital Philanthropists, and America India Foundation.
